RICHMOND , VIRGINIA . The law firm of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, headquartered in Richmond , Virginia , is pleased to announce that J. Brian Slaughter has joined the firm as an Associate in the Richmond office. In addition, Maura J. Graham joins the firm as an Associate in the McLean office.
J. Jonathan Schraub, managing partner of the McLean office, stated, "It's very exciting to be expanding our presence in the northern Virginia area. Maura brings experience that allows us to enhance and pursue opportunities to better serve our clients." Sands Anderson opened its McLean office in 2003. C. Slaughter is a member of the Workers' Compensation practice group and will focus primarily on workers' compensation defense. Most recently, Slaughter worked as a Staff Attorney and Mediator at the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission. He received his undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary. Slaughter received his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
