Firm Opens Research Triangle Office

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (March 26, 2001).... The law firm of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, has established an office in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. The Research Triangle office is the first out-of-state office for this 140 year-old Virginia law firm.
The new office was established to provide service to the firm's increasing number of clients in North Carolina and Southside Virginia region. Paul C. Jacobson, a principal of the firm and former member of its Board of Directors, relocated to Durham to open the new office. Regarding the new office, Jacobson said, "We have found that many of our clients appreciate our ability to serve their needs throughout the region. Sands Anderson is taking a pro-active approach by expanding its service area in order to keep pace with the changing needs of our clients."
Jacobson has extensive experience in public finance and working with localities to develop financing strategies. His practice is concentrated in representing counties, cities, towns and special purpose authorities in local government, municipal finance, environmental and real estate matters.
