Tom Ebel Elected President of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller for a Third Term

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (February 22, 2002)... Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, P.C. has named C. Thomas Ebel President of the law firm for a third term. Under Mr. Ebel's leadership, and that of the Board of Directors, the firm has experienced progress in growth and service. With offices in Richmond and Radford, Ebel has recently led the firm's expanded regional coverage to the Research Triangle of North Carolina, and more recently, to Fredericksburg.

While serving as President, Ebel also chairs the firm's Business, Finance and Real Estate Practice Group. In December 2001, he was listed in Virginia Business' "Legal Elite" for his Real Estate/Construction practice. Board of Directors member, Ben Emerson, commented, "Tom's leadership has served the firm well in establishing consistency in direction and development." Ebel received his bachelor's degree from Hampden-Sydney College and his law degree from the University of Richmond.
