Ben Lacy Selected for National Regulatory Counsel Board

Benjamin R. Lacy IV, chair of the Government Relations and Lobbying practice group at the Sands Anderson PC law firm's Richmond office, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Federation of Regulatory Counsel for a three year term, firm President M. Pierce Rucker reported today.

"Ben's lengthy experience in regulatory law and practice before the State Corporation Commission make him one of the leading Virginia lawyers for this highly technical and exacting area, for which his clients and fellow lawyers around the state immensely respect him," said Rucker.

Lacy has been practicing law for three decades, largely in the regulatory area, and represents businesses in the life, health, property and casualty insurance industry, including insurers, providers and agents, as well as regional and national insurance companies in the legislative and regulatory process.
