Karen S. Elliott Joins Litigation Practice

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA--Karen S. Elliott has joined the Employment Law team in the Business and Professional Litigation practice group at the firm of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, P.C., President M. Pierce Rucker announced today.

"Our firm is proud to welcome Karen Elliott, who has an established and well-respected practice in labor and employment law, to our team of employment counselors and business litigators, and we know our clients will benefit from her considerable legal skills," said Rucker.

Elliott focuses her law practice on labor and employment law counseling and trial work, and on a broad range of commercial litigation. She has been listed in the Virginia Business magazine's annual Legal Elite publication for four years, a result of nominations from her peers across the state.

Elliott earned her B.A. with distinction at George Washington University and her J.D. at the University of Virginia. She is a past president of the Metropolitan Richmond Women's Bar Association  and past Board member of the Bar Association of the City of Richmond. She has devoted many years as a volunteer on various public service activities and has served as a legislative resource for the Society of Human Resource Management, testifying on behalf of SHRM before several federal agencies on employment laws and their impact on employers.
