Tom Wochok is a member of the Healthcare and Business and Professional Litigation groups. He focuses his practice on representing medical professionals and their employers in defense of professional malpractice claims and on insurance coverage and claims. He is based in our McLean office.

Tom's three-decade legal career has spanned assignments in litigation and risk management as in-house counsel for insurers as well as private practice within their outside counsel. His background is deep in civil litigation, especially in the areas of medical malpractice, products and premises liability, construction liability and nursing home liability.

He obtained his B.A. from The Catholic University of America, magna cum laude. He obtained his J.D. from The University of Toledo and earned his LL.M. in international and comparative law from Georgetown University, with distinction. 

Tom is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and a member of Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, Fairfax County Bar Association, and Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, International.
