Ben Lacy concentrates his practice on the life, health, property and casualty insurance industry, including insurers, providers and agents; as well as, providing representation to regional and national insurance companies in the legislative and regulatory process.
Ben also has extensive experience with the regulatory and administrative process before the Virginia State Corporation Commission. He has represented numerous carriers and agents in market conduct examinations before the Bureau of Insurance. He currently serves as leader of the Governmental Relations team and represents numerous organizations, carriers and businesses before the Virginia General Assembly. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America 2010-2012 Editions and by Virginia Business magazine as one of Virginia's "Legal Elite" since 2005. Most recently Ben earned the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation for his work with the Pro Bono Clearinghouse. Ben is a member of the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals and International Association of Insurance Receivers
